Peltast (Light Infantry Warrior)

IV-V cc. BC.  Such warriors were armed with spears and light shields “taka” (“pelta” in Greece - a crescent-shaped wicker shield made of wood and leather with metal edging). The colors and patterns on the uniform are taken from the Greek vases’ images of the Persian and Greek warriors. His hood has “solanaceous” colors. Compound bow, quiver with arrows and shield “taka”. He is armed with spear.
