IV – V cc. BC. These military units consisted only of the Medians, the Persians and the Elamites. The first thousand warriors were Persian noblemen who were the king’s private guards. There is a spear in his left hand and a sword on his right side. The warrior is in loose yellow Elamite robes with wide sleeves. A fillet is on his head. He has a bow on the shoulder and leans on a quiver in a shape of tube.
