IV-V cc. BC. The Persian Empire was one of the greatest empires existing in the ancient times in the Middle East. It was ruled by King of Kings or “Great King” as the Greeks used to call him. A figurine has a bright tunic (Persian - serap) with a white stripe in the middle and a belt with gold cover plates. Headwear is decorated with solar symbols as those on the belt (gold, turquoise). Purple cape on shoulders and purple shoes embroidered with gold.
